Meralda Station offers an eco focused off-grid camping & glamping experience and a genuine opportunity to connect with nature.
Family owned and operated Meralda Station is located in the outback mining town of Cobar. Owners John & Jenniffer expanded Meralda Station into agritourism in 2021, offering eco-camping farm stays on their gorgeous little property close to town.

Meralda Station’s peaceful outback setting with the designated Main Camp, provides plenty of space to take in the authentic beauty of the bush. Or for those looking for a more isolated location, try our Secluded Sites, where it’s just you, and the raw beauty of the outback.
We also offer Glamping for those who love the idea of camping but don’t want to rough it, or have the hassle of carting all the gear.
Once you’re set up, all you need to do is relax, unwind by the campfire (if season permits), enjoy the magnificent outback sunsets and breathtaking night sky stargazing that the outback is renowned for.
This is a farm located in the outback so please expect:
Dust, amazing sunsets, flies, fabulous hospitality, burrs, quirky animals, unreliable weather forecasts, tranquility and ambience.
