Kilcowera Station
Visitors can also bush camp at Cardenyabba Lagoon which has a series of secluded campsites each with a fireplace. Guests can gather their own wood in ( away from the lagoon) or bring some with them. There is a long drop toilet at the Lagoon and it’s only 3 km from the quarters and the bathrooms there. Conventional vehicles and caravans are able to access these sites as well as four wheel drives
All guests are supplied with a comprehensive information pack which includes maps, bird lists and detailed information about the station to help them on their self-guided tours of Kilcowera.
Please note: The lagoons and waterholes at Kilcowera are entirely seasonal. Whilst the lagoon is stunning when it is full, there are large portions of the year when the lagoon is dry. To avoid disappointment, please contact us to find out about the seasonal conditions at the time of your visit.
