Authentic Outback Luxury
Callubri Station is a luxury outback station stay set in the heart of the red dirt of western plains of NSW. Located less than a 1.5hr private flight from Sydney, it is Australia’s most accessible outback farm stay. Disconnect from the everyday hustle of city life and discover the untamed beauty of the Australian outback.
Hosted personally by owners Angie and Mike Armstrong and their dedicated staff team, every stay is tailored. Farewell the day with canapes and sundowners on The Lookout- a luxury outback experience!
Enjoy true farm to table dining showcasing seasonal ingredients from the homestead gardens. Feast on hand made sour dough using stone milled wheat from the property. Indulge in station lamb, heirloom fruit and vegetables, and hand made delicacies. With 15 years catering experience and an unsurpassed culinary passion, the dining experience is one you won’t forget.
Explore the winding waterways and ancient river gums along the Bogan River. Throw a fishing line in, or simply laze by the pool with a grazing platter and surrender to the sound of the bush. Dining
The culinary experience at Callubri Station is deeply rooted in the rhythm of the land and the passion of the people who live on it. Our menus showcase the very best of our seasonal homegrown ingredients grown using organic principles in our market garden and hydroponics.
We proudly serve our own grass-fed Merino lamb alongside local beef, pork, yabbies and kangaroo. Furthermore, to complement our own products we partner with some incredibly talented local farms producing the very best in their industry.
Support local is not just our mantra, it’s how we live. We proudly use Little Big Dairy Milk, Cream and Butter, Mumblepeg Orange Juice and Hamilton’s Pride Eggs.

Getting Here
Getting here is half the fun! The Station takes pride of place between the remote country towns of Nyngan and Tottenham in Central West NSW. Our station is located 52kms South of Nyngan (pop 3500), 48kms North of Tottenham (pop 300) and 53kms West of Nevertire (pop 225) in the Central West Plains of NSW. Our closest regional centre is Dubbo (160kms).
We are easily accessed by private air charter (Helicopter or Plane) or by road using either an escorted group tour or self drive.
By Helicopter: We are right on the limit of most helicopter’s fuel ranges so coming from Sydney we recommend a fuel stop (and visit to a local winery or brewery for lunch!) in Orange, Mudgee or Dubbo. Read our suggested Helicopter Itineraries…
By Plane: We are just over 1 hour flight time from Sydney landing direct into Nyngan or Tottenham airport or on our private dirt airstrip due for completion late 2024. Our all inclusive ‘Stay and Play’ group packages include road transfers between the station and our local airports. Read our suggested Plane Itineraries…
By Road: Although a little longer, travelling by road offers a truly experiential journey witnessing the landscape change as you leave the hustle and bustle of the city and the paddocks get larger and flatter! Please refer to the driving directions below. Commercial flights also land in Dubbo daily where you can hire a car or bus and for group bookings, private transfers may be arranged. Read our suggested Self Drive Itineraries…
Being located almost exactly in the centre of NSW means there are so many wonderful ways to journey to our station. Whether by helicopter, private plane or road, the journey will form as much of the adventure as the destination itself!
