Discover a Piece of Australia’s past, our Homestead was once an original pastoral settlement a working sheep station and a coach stop with the old cloak room and washhouse still standing. Come visit the Warrumbungle National Park the comfortable way, our Homestead has 5 comfortable Bedrooms and all the comforts of home .
Due to unforseen circumstances we regret that Mt Tenandra Homestead is temporarily closed for business.
We are the closest accommodation on the western side and only 15minutes away from the Park, 30 minutes will get you to Baradine Discovery Centre and the Pilliga National Park, or visit nearby Coonamble, Gulargambone and Coonabarabran. The Homestead is self-contained all you need is your food. Make it you base or just relax and unwind see the amazing night skys .We offer plenty of room for groups wonderful views to paint or photograph.

Your Hosts:
Bob and Kerry brought Mt Tenandra Homestead and 300 acres in 2007 renovating it and making it a B&B Their property next door was originally part of Mt Tenandra Station which they have farmed for 35yrs
We have 3 grown Children: Tamara works for Quantas , Justin a builder (very Handy) and Ajarna a policewoman all have family of they own so we have 7 grandchildren whom love to visit the farm.

Things to Do:
We are the closest accommodation on the western side of the Warrumbungle National Park. In 15 minutes you could be exploring the national park. Pilliga State Forest is 30 minutes. Or visit Gulargambone, Coonamble, Baradine, and Coonabarabran - all within 35 minutes drive.
If you prefer to stay put, the Homestead offers lots to see. Wildlife; kangaroos and emus, abundances of bird life, wonderful night skies.
Or you can take a walk across the road to Mt Tenandra. Walk to the top and take in the views of the magnificence of the Warrumbungle's.
Or maybe you prefer to have a bike ride, you can mountain bike ride the country roads or the roads around the farm (bring your own bike)
Head west and see the wide open plains of Coonamble Shire.
Getting Here:
From Coonamble. Take the Tooraweenah National Park road for 49km. Turn left onto the Baradine Rd (Gooriannawa Rd). We are the first gate on your right after the steam engine.
From Gulargambone. Take the Warrumbungle's National Park road for 30km. Turn left onto the Coonamble - Baradine Rd, which is unsealed. After 5km turn left at the T junction, onto the Coonamble road. After 1.8km go right onto the Baradine Road. We are the first gate on your right past the steam engine.
From Coonabarabran. Take the National Park road for 61km, through to the Coonamble road, past Gummin Gummin ( now burnt out). Follow the signs to Coonamble. Turn right onto the Baradine ( Gooriannawa Rd). We are the first gate on your right after the steam engine.
